Operations added to your library after a Takeoff already started used to be out of reach for that Takeoff. The new Add New Operations button on the Takeoff Labor setup grid fixes that, letting you pull in newer operations without starting over.
Open the Takeoff and go to Setup > Labor.
Click Add New Operations on the Labor setup grid.
Select the operations you want to bring in from the current library.
Step through the wizard, which snapshots each operation, including its durations, labor items, and burdens, so it can be attached to cost objects.
If a selected operation shares labor or burdens already used in the Takeoff, choose whether to refresh those to current library values. Review the impact preview before confirming.
Confirm to finish. The new operations are now available in Setup > Labor and ready to attach to cost objects.
