Overview
Starting June 29, 2026, Site Manager has a redesigned interface. The goal was to make the app faster to navigate on site — fewer taps to get to your daily work, a cleaner layout, and a few frequently requested improvements to how you work with files, photos, and Work Orders.
This article covers what changed. If something you use every day looks different or has moved, check here first.
A faster way to get to your daily work
The home screen has been reorganized to get you to your most common actions — clocking in, viewing your projects, and recording hours — in fewer taps. If you've used Site Manager before, the same information is still there; it's just organized differently.
Browsing files and photos is now easier
Two improvements to how you view files and photos on a Project or Work Order:
Thumbnail view. In the Files list, you can now switch between a standard list view and a thumbnail view that shows a visual preview of each photo. Use the toggle at the top of the Files list to switch — your choice is remembered the next time you open Files. Non-photo files (like PDFs) show a generic file icon in thumbnail view.
Browse photos with arrows. When you open a photo from the Files list, you'll now see left/right arrows in the preview so you can move to the next or previous photo without going back to the list each time.
Tip: If you upload a lot of site photos, thumbnail view makes it much faster to find the one you need.
More options when creating a Work Order
When you create a new Work Order from Site Manager, you can now set two additional things up front, instead of adjusting them later from the office:
Work Order tag — an optional field where you can select one or more tags for the new Work Order. Your company's list of Work Order tags is managed under Configuration > Dictionaries > Work Order Tags in INNERGY.
Workflow — you can now choose which workflow the Work Order should follow (Primary or any secondary workflow your company has set up), instead of it always defaulting to the Primary Workflow. If you skip this step, the Work Order still defaults to Primary Workflow, just like before.
Both of these show up in the Review Work Order Details step before you submit.
A tip on Notes
If you add a note to a Project while you're online and it doesn't show up in INNERGY right away, try editing any note in the app — that will trigger a sync. We're aware this can happen and are working on a fix so notes sync automatically every time.
Where debug logs moved
If support ever asks you for a debug log: in the new interface, tap More in the bottom navigation bar, then Debug. (In the classic interface, use the INNERGY icon in the upper-right corner — see Basic Site Manager Troubleshooting.)
What hasn't changed
Your permissions, project assignments, and existing data are exactly the same — the new interface is a navigation and visual refresh, not a change to what you have access to.
Clock in/out, Bulk Clock In/Out, impediments, % installed, and all other core workflows work the same way; only the layout has changed.
