Creating a Sheet

How to create a drawing sheet to lay out scenes and annotations for printing.

A sheet is the page you compose and print — a sized, scaled drawing on which you place scenes (views of your model) and annotations.

Good to know: Set the page size and a default scale when you create the sheet. Scenes you add later use that scale unless you change it.

Create a sheet

1. Open the Sheets panel.

2. Click Create.

3. Fill in the fields in the Create Sheet dialog (see below).

4. Click Create. The new sheet opens in its own tab.

Note: The Title Block field lists items from your Annotations Library. To use one, first save a title-block design to the library — see Creating / Importing a Title Block.

Quick checklist

• Open the Sheets panel and click Create.

• Set Name, Width, Height, and Default Scale.

• Optionally choose a Title Block.

• Click Create — the sheet opens in its own tab.
