A shop drawing full of markups is only useful if the crew can trace each mark back to the job that covers it. In the Plan Viewer, a Task marker now does that for you: drop it on the sheet, link it to a Work Order, and anyone who opens that marker later lands on the right Work Order in a couple of clicks.
Drop a Task marker and link it to a Work Order
Open a sheet in the Plan Viewer and select the Task tool from the toolbar.
Click the location on the sheet where you want the marker.
In the create dialog, set the marker type to Work Order.
Use the Work Order field to search and pick the specific Work Order the marker belongs to — start typing a job number or name to narrow the list.
Fill in the rest of the Task details (name, assignee, due date) and save.
Open the Work Order from the marker
Click any Work Order marker on the sheet.
Select the marker's Task to open its details.
Use the Work Order link on the Task to jump straight to that Work Order — no need to leave Plan Viewer and search for it separately.
Tip: existing markers keep working the same way — this just adds Work Order as a marker type, so mixed sheets with Task, Bid, and Project markers are unaffected.
